Aromatic: Warm, intensely vanilla and cocoa notes. A gourmand nose blending notes of mirabelle plums and caramel.
Visual: Brune vanilla is a dry vanilla bean, compared to a moist (Ebène d'Ouganda) Black vanilla. The pods may have some visual defects of over-ripeness (split), a sign of a fully ripe harvest (late harvest). The beans double in volume when rehydrated in your milk, sauce or a base of alcohol.
Origin: Brown vanilla beans from a long refining process on the shores of Lake Victoria, a stone's throw from the source of the Nile.
