What are the flavours of the Sencha green tea - Glamour - vanilla currant?

With this Sencha Glamour green tea, you will travel. Notes of papaya, carambola, maracuja, Malacca apple, soursop and Julie mango contrast with the slight acidity of the currant. Hints of vanilla bring a sweet note. The whole is twisted by the freshness of a Sencha green tea, the mixture is simply perfect.

This glamour tea with redcurrant, vanilla and exotic fruit notes is a green tea that is by definition not oxidized. I chose a Sencha green tea that comes from China, the country of tea par excellence that knows how to offer magnificent flavours.

This tea is originally grown in Japan, which slightly modifies its transformation. When the tea leaves are harvested, they are heated to stop oxidation immediately. Chinese Sencha green tea is heated according to the Japanese method, in a steam bath (the Chinese traditionally use metal basins and plunge the leaves in).

Then, the tea leaves are softened which allows to proceed to the rolling, an important step that will impact the strength of your tea.

Finally, the leaves are dried in order to reduce the humidity and allow you to consume them for a few years.
