The Marquis de Sade said: "Nothing is awful in libertinism, because everything that libertinism inspires, is also inspired by nature". Here, nature is well and truly present with this magnificent Yunnan black tea with large leaves.

What are the flavors of black tea scented with exotic fruits?

This Yunnan black tea combined with rose petals, sunflowers and blueberry flowers reveals delicious aromas of passion fruit, mango and papaya. Awaken the libertine in you to discover its exotic flavors.

Imagine yourself for a moment with your muse along a river with only a luxuriant nature for horizon. Only one background noise... a waterfall. Nature, you and your scented black tea. You need to refresh yourself? How about trying this exotic fruit iced tea?

Exotic fruit flavored black tea: from plantation to cup

Yunnan black tea is grown in China in the region of the same name located at the gateway to Burma and Laos. It flourishes on the high plateaus of this region and benefits from a warm and humid climate that allows it to develop according to the seasons.

After the leaves are picked from the tea plant, they are oxidized to obtain a black tea (which the Chinese call red tea). The tea leaves are placed on racks at a temperature between 20 and 24° for 18 to 20 hours. During this stage of withering, they are ventilated with forced air.

Then, the rolling is an important operation because it is it which will impact the power of your tea. The tea leaves are then placed in anoxidation room with a humidity level between 90 and 95% and a controlled temperature for 1 to 3 hours.

Then comes the roasting phase, here the leaves are heated for 15 to 20 minutes at 90°, the humidity level is suddenly lowered to 5%.

Finally, your Yunnan black tea is sorted and ready to be enjoyed.

Food and tea: David's Vanilla pairings

With its exotic flavors, we can perfectly imagine this tea scented with shrimps sautéed with ginger (a spice that, let's remember, is an aphrodisiac...).
To fully experience your trip to the land of exoticism, why not combine this tea with a chocolate and mango cream pie?
