Let's start this vanilla meal with some toast. Cut your figs crosswise so that they remain in one piece and pour honey mixed with Ecuadorian vanilla beans into the center. Bake for 5 minutes on the grill. Toast some bread, place a slice of goat's cheese on top and then the warm fig. Serve with a small green salad and local ham.
Split the vanilla bean and collect the seeds to mix with soft butter. Split the prawns in two and place vanilla butter on top, then cook in the oven for about ten minutes, basting regularly with the cooking butter. Serve with Thai rice.
Here is a simple dessert that you can serve with vanilla or chocolate ice cream. To make your vanilla whipped cream, whip mascarpone, icing sugar and vanilla beans. Whip in parallel liquid cream to obtain a foamy texture. Gently fold the cream into the mascarpone and refrigerate for one hour.
