Papua New Guinea is one of the vanilla producing countries. In Oceania, north of Australia, Papua has a very favourable climate for the cultivation of vanilla. Perfectly situated between 10 and 20° latitude, it is a favourable land for the vanilla plant to develop fully and offers you delicious beans full of exoticism. It is not a pioneer country in vanilla production. However, it has managed to catch up and produce a truly exceptional vanilla capable of seducing the greatest chefs. The vanilla that I am offering you comes from the Highlands region, and more precisely from Goroka and Mount Kabangama
If I have been seduced by the vanilla of Papua New Guinea, it is notably for its wild side. It presents spicy and undergrowth notes. Its final notes of leather and liquorice are exceptional, I couldn't resist proposing it on my online shop of vanilla and other spices. A refined, semi-dry bean that, once split, reveals magnificent black beans, you won't be able to resist its smell and its subtle taste.
When vanilla Tahitensis enters the kitchen, it never comes out again. You will fall under the spell of this little treasure with its unique aromatic palette. It will revolutionize all your dishes and surprise your family and all your guests. You'll see, 20 pods won't be too much. Some of my clients buy 20 pods to share with their friends and make a group order. Others like vanilla so much that they put it everywhere. Because this vanilla does not just accompany your sweet dishes. Of course, in yoghurts, creams and other cakes with exotic flavours, this Tahitenis vanilla has its place. But it can also be used to add a whole new dimension to your savoury dishes, in chicken or fish dishes.
