If you have had the chance in your life to discover Tahiti, you have certainly been able to discover an incredible archipelago. There you can admire sumptuous landscapes and treat your taste buds. All you have to do is take a trip to the market on one of Tahiti's islands to discover ripe fruits bursting with sugar and full of freshness, simply delicious jams and, of course, exceptional vanilla. Tasting Tahitian vanilla is a taste journey across the oceans. At a market or in a Tahitian grocery store, it is impossible to leave empty-handed. When I discovered Tahitian vanilla, I was captivated by this great vintage. More than confidential with regard to the production of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, this vanilla is nevertheless an exceptional product that has nothing to envy to the others. On the islands of Tahaa, Raiaeta and Huaniné, vanilla producers put all their soul into delivering a luxury product. Exquisite and bewitching flavours reminiscent of gingerbread and Speculoos, with gourmet aniseed notes, it doesn't take much to delight our palate. I really love this vanilla and I hope to be able to share with you this passion that drives me.
To help you discover this incredible product, I have chosen not to offer it in too large quantities. Here, I invite you to simply order two Tahitian vanilla beans. This is a test, you take no risk by buying this product. On the one hand, because I know that it is excellent, even if all palates are not seduced by the same products. On the other hand, because this small batch does not commit you over time. If, in the end, you prefer Bourbon vanilla, don't worry, you will find as many as you want on my online vanilla shop.
Maybe you didn't know it, but it's going to take years from the time your grower plants his vanilla plant, a kind of orchid, to the time you enjoy a beautiful vanilla bean. Count 3 years between planting and flowering. Then, when the vanilla plant flowers, you have to wait another 8 to 9 months to harvest the bean. Then, different stages must be respected, including the maturing process which takes several months. From planting to tasting, we must therefore wait about 5 years. Patience is the greatest quality of a vanilla producer. Naturally, once the vanilla tree has bloomed once, the process is accelerated.
Tahitian vanilla, like its congeners, is a fabulous product that transforms a good dessert into an excellent dessert. Once you have chosen a high quality vanilla, you can be sure that the taste of your preparations will be sublimated. Sometimes you don't need to be a great pastry chef to fully exploit the flavours of vanilla. A good homemade yoghurt as before, vanilla ice cream, pancakes, it's simple and excellent at the same time. If you are a fan of pastries, then you can multiply the preparations. Cabbages with vanilla cream, macaroons with a magnificent ganache that reveals its small black beans from a very beautiful Tahitian vanilla bean, a delicious vanilla Paris-Brest, the recipes are so numerous that it would be impossible to name them all. And don't forget that vanilla also goes perfectly with savoury dishes.

Aussi delicieusement subtile qu'excessivement onéreuse.
