Fujian green tea is a tea grown in China. Like all green teas, it is not oxidized, so it follows a specific transformation process to stop oxidation immediately. Also, the green tea leaves are first roasted. As this Fujian tea is produced in China, we adopt the Chinese method which consists in placing the tea leaves in a metal basin at 100°. A few seconds are enough to kill the enzymes responsible for the oxidation. The tea leaves are then softened and we move on to the rolling stage. The objective is to give them a specific shape that will influence their taste. Finally, for a perfect conservation, they are dried in a room where heat and humidity are controlled by the Chinese tea experts.

When the tea leaves are dry, they are combined with jasmine flowers for two weeks. This is when the magic happens. The jasmine delicately blends with the flavors of the green tea to give you an inimitable Mekong jasmine green tea.
