Oolong tea - Temptation - lotus, rose and passion fruit: let yourself be tempted by the freshness of fruit

This product is a beautiful combination of Oolong tea, a semi-fermented tea, and fruit. We discover here the subtlety of the lotus associated with the delicacy of the rose and the punch of the passion fruit. A beautiful gustatory promise, a temptation that will be very difficult to resist.

My Oolong tea comes from China, an emblematic country when we talk about tea. It is a very specific drink since semi-fermented tea is a product halfway between green and black tea. It is called semi-oxidized tea, and it is its transformation process that gives it this characteristic and makes it totally unique.

What are the flavors of the Oolong tea - Tentation - lotus, rose and passion fruit?

On the nose, we appreciate the very floral notes and the pep of the passion fruit. To the taste, we like the freshness and the fruity notes which come to counterbalance this slightly spicy taste of the Oolong tea. Will you resist to the temptation? Admit that it would be a shame!

Oolong tea - Temptation - lotus, rose and passion fruit: from the plantation to the cup

This is not a tea like the others. If the great tea lovers know perfectly the semi-fermented Oolong tea, the most novices in the matter will discover here all its specificities. A particularity that can be found from the process of transformation of your Oolong tea Tentation with passion fruit, rose and lotus flower.

Oolong tea is semi-fermented or semi-oxidized. Therefore, it is a perfect intermediary between green and black tea. Also, it undergoes 4 manufacturing steps:
- withering, which consists in reducing the humidity of the leaves by placing them on panels that filter the light and heat of the sun in a humid room;
- sweating, a step during which the leaves of Oolong Tea Temptation with fruits are placed in a hot and humid room to reach a fermentation of 30%;
- roasting, which stops the oxidation for an intermediate tea. The leaves are placed at a high temperature;
- the rolling which consists in rolling the tea leaves, their shape impacting the grade of the latter. Oolong tea is particular, it has long and rolled leaves.
