Black tea - Wild Fruits - Call of the Forest

This black tea is a delicate combination of a magnificent Yunnan black tea and wild fruits.

It is an ode to Jack London and the passion of wild red fruits that are invited in our forests for a very natural tea. Raspberries, blackberries, elderberries, you will make a real gustatory return in childhood, when you picked these wild fruits and your lips were red, betraying your greed.

The opening of the bag is a journey into the woods. You will not be able to resist this explosion of warm, powerful and reassuring scents.

Yunnan tea is a floral tea that combines perfectly with the sweetness of fruit for a comforting taste.

What are the flavors of Black Tea - Wild Fruits - Call of the Forest?

Black tea is a tea of character without being too powerful. The same goes for the red fruits for a subtle alliance of perfectly coordinated flavors. You will love these spring flavors. Low in theine, Yunnan black tea knows how to awaken the senses without rushing you.

Black tea - Wild Fruits - The Call of the Forest: from the plantation to the cup

Yunnan black tea is grown in China. This region is known to produce many famous teas throughout the world. It is true that its climate is very favorable between heat and humidity. All the conditions are met to offer you an exceptional tea.

To develop their floral notes, Yunnan black tea leaves follow a strict 5-step transformation process:
- withering: the tea leaves are placed on racks in a ventilated room between 20 and 24°. Here, they will lose about 50% of their moisture;
- rolling: the wilting stage has allowed the leaf to soften, which will facilitate rolling. The more a leaf is rolled, the more the tea is full-bodied;
- oxidation: remember that black tea is an oxidized tea, so it must undergo a specific stage. The leaves are placed in rooms where the heat and humidity are controlled;
- roasting: this stops the oxidation. For about fifteen minutes, the leaves are heated to about 90°;
- the sorting: whole leaves or broken leaves, the tea is sorted into two grades.
