Green tea Sencha Fukujyu - Mount Fuji : from the plantation to the cup

This green tea Sencha Fukujyu from Mount Fuji is a little gustatory marvel that owes its quality to its harvesting and processing. This Japanese tea comes from a summer harvest which gives it its floral character. Once the tea leaves are harvested, they follow a specific process to make the best green tea.

Roasting is the first step in the transformation of Sencha Fukujyu green tea leaves from Mount Fuji. The objective here is to stop oxidation immediately (only black tea is oxidized). For this, it is to each his method. Here, we have a green tea from Japan, the tea leaves are steamed for about 30 seconds to a few minutes (depending on the desired result) at 100 °. Chinese teas are heated in a metal basin. Once the leaves of your Mount Fuji Sencha Fukujyu green tea are roasted, the rolling phase begins. Here, we obtain flattened needle-like leaves that release all the flavors and virtues of this tea. Finally, the leaves are dried in a space where hot air circulates. Although this step only lasts a few minutes, it allows to obtain a very low humidity for very dry tea leaves that will keep perfectly at home.
