I close my eyes, smell my Aztec Curry and go on a dream trip. Over there, beyond the rainforest, on both sides of the country, is one of the most advanced civilizations in America. Hot, spicy and sweet smells float in the air. The sun shines and illuminates the landscapes. In the recipes, we find the complexity of a culture that, faithful to its art, is in search of an undeniable harmony.

How to create a spice blend that honours Aztecs? First of all, let's take a look at its gastronomy.

Aztec gastronomy was composed of corn with spices and cocoa. Animal proteins mainly from duck and turkey farming. From time to time, game, more specifically deer, could do the table proud. There are also many vegetables such as tomatoes, squash, beans in this diet.

The Aztecs often prepared marinades made with honey and spices to accompany their dishes. Feel free to do the same with my Aztec Curry.

This precisely dosed blend of spices will allow you to sublimate these different foods. When you open the bag, you will be amazed by the atmosphere of this blend of spices. Illuminating your recipes has never been easier!

The ingredients in this blend are perfectly resistant to cooking. This advantage will allow you to integrate this mixture at the very beginning of cooking your simmered dishes. As on raw foods or at the end of cooking in order to receive all their aromatic notes.

We recommend that you sprinkle this mixture with one teaspoon for 4 people.

It will be ideal both in the preparation of your marinades and as a condiment for your dishes with sauces from Mexican, Indian or European cuisine.

A culinary journey with many possible stops. This is precisely what the Aztec Spice and Curry Blend offers you.

Indeed, it will be an excellent companion for dishes of very different composition and origin. You will see that it is with disconcerting ease that you will succeed in recreating a universe conducive to escape on your guests' plates! The most complicated thing will be to determine for which destination you want them to board. Follow the guide:

On the way to the Amerindian lands

Would you like to visit the Aztec temples and discover the deities and rites of this civilization? Why not make some delicious tortillas! Whether it is made with vegetables such as the traditional Potato Tortilla or a little more original such as the Tortilla with lamb offal and herbs in the style of Alain Ducasse, the Aztec Spice and Curry Mix will enhance this tasty recipe!

You can also rely on the flavours and aromatic notes of this blend to prepare other Mexican specialities such as chicken enchiladas or ground meat Fajitas, which will be spiced up with precision.

    For your daily meals :

Add a pinch of Aztec Spice Mix - Curry to your chicken meatballs, vegetable pan, or any meat-based preparation (whether duck, game or poultry) to discover your dishes in a whole new way.

A pinch of this mixture in your mayonnaise will give your shellfish a special aromatic approach.

    Gourmet inspiration :

For the gourmet palates in search of adventure, you can also add a slight pinch of this mixture to your fruit yoghurts or dried fruit (especially dried bananas, a treat!).
