It is with a sweet nostalgia that you remember your last vacations in the Caribbean. Its white sandy beaches, its turquoise waters, the salty spray that reached your deckchair while you were enjoying a delicious ti punch..

What a treat you felt this lunchtime when you discovered these local culinary specialties! This grilled fish served with rice and a succulent Creole Dog Sauce... Memorable!

You remember being surprised by the name of this sauce as well as by its flavor. The locals explained to you that this accompaniment was named after the eponymous knife that allows you to finely chop the herbs and spices that make it up.

Chien Creole Sauce is native to the West Indies and has the appearance of a mixture of green condiments, it might make you think of a kind of spicy vinaigrette. But it is much more than that. It is one of the bases of the Caribbean cuisine.

I have chosen to offer you a ready to use Spice Mix - Creole Dog Sauce to take you on a Creole journey in a jiffy.

This one is made of 4 essential ingredients to be able to find these unique flavors: garlic, onion, parsley, hot pepper. Each of them has been carefully selected to concoct a blend of unparalleled flavors.

Note that in the West Indies, two different versions of this blend can be offered: without tomato (original recipe) and with tomato (which is a pleasant variation for this sauce found in many local dishes). It's up to you to choose whether you want to add a bit of sauce to your Creole Dog Sauce or not.

Anyway, if this sauce is a discovery for you, I invite you to try it quickly!

Creole Dog Sauce is the perfect accompaniment to a long list of dishes. The Creole Dog Sauce Mix can be your ideal partner to accompany or marinate any grilled item, but it will also allow you to try many other culinary experiments.

In order to treat all your guests around a barbecue, you will just have to bind a teaspoon of this mixture with two tablespoons of vegetable oil (rapeseed, sunflower or olive). This will allow you to present this mixture as a sauce to accompany your barbecued pieces or to make a marinade. In this same form, Chien Créole Sauce can also become a delicious dressing for all your salads and raw vegetables.

If you want to prepare a meat dish in the oven (roast chicken, for example), you can prepare a delicious sauce by binding a teaspoon of this same mixture with a skin of hot water and the pepper of your choice. The combination with the juices of the meat will reveal completely new flavors.

The original recipe is made up of the ingredients that I suggest in this mixture. Nevertheless, it is not uncommon to find recipes for tomato-based Dog Sauce. Indeed, this association is quite pleasant to the palate. In the same way, you can also add capers or spring onions to bring out all the flavors of this mixture.

This Creole Dog Sauce Mix is not only very practical to use but also relatively economical in its preparation. Also, if you have prepared this sauce in excess, you can freeze it perfectly by putting it in an ice cube tray. All you have to do is take it out of the freezer for an impromptu barbecue.

The Creole Dog Sauce Mix is the perfect accompaniment to all your grilled items.

In addition to the traditional " Poulet Boucané" that can be eaten in the West Indian style, you can concoct a delicious Creole Dog Sauce from this mix to accompany all your pieces to be grilled on the barbecue or roasted in the oven.

Enjoy a piece of meat (beef entrecote, poultry brochettes, chicken drumsticks, ribs, ...), fish (fresh tuna steak, mackerel, ...) or your shellfish such as a lobster or a succulent lobster.

This Creole Dog Sauce Mix is ideal to concoct a dressing that you can use in all your salads, raw vegetables, and even as a sandwich sauce.

I'll tell you one last trick that will allow you to surprise your guests: this Creole Dog Sauce that you will have prepared thanks to this mixture can be perfectly used as a dip in which you can dip all kinds of chips, tortilla, during your summer aperitifs.

All that's left is to wish you an excellent trip to the West Indies!
