Found in southern India, it is widespread in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Ayurvedic medicine uses Turmeric for its benefits on the intestines, circulation, digestion and cellular degeneration). Very easy to prepare, it is appreciated in the morning or afternoon. Some like to brew black tea or add chocolate to their golden milk while others prefer it simply spicy and natural.

Several types of milk can be used to prepare Golden Milk (coconut, cow, soya, rice). The ideal is to combine the piperine of black pepper to get the most out of the benefits of curcumin found in turmeric longa from India.

50cl coconut milk

50cl of cow's milk

5g turmeric

2g black pepper

2g nutmeg

Preparation

Mix your coconut milk and cow's milk.

Add turmeric, black pepper, nutmeg (cinnamon to taste).

Heat over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve with a touch of honey ;-)
