By its wild aspect, the white pepper of Voatsiperifery is considered as a rare pepper. It is found in the primary forests of Madagascar on a liana that produces small seeds. This Piper borbonese is a Bourbon pepper. Although it is not really cultivated since it is offered to us by the wild nature of the island, it is a real pepper contrary to certain species which are in reality berries like the Sansho pepper.
The white pepper of Voatsiperifery presents subtle flavors more soft than those of the black pepper. It is more intense than its congeners with a lively nose with floral and woody notes and a touch of citrus.
This pepper of Voatsiperifery is harvested in the primary and virgin forests of the island of Madagascar. It is waterlogged and requires infinite precautions during harvesting. The color of this spice is linked to its maturity. White pepper is harvested when ripe and is soaked in clear water to remove its pericarp and then dried. The harvest of the white pepper of Voatsiperifery is perilous as it grows up to 20 m high.
This white pepper brings specific flavors to your cooking with its spicy notes not too spicy. It delights pepper lovers with a sensitive palate.
Oysters au gratin are delicious. Sometimes this way of presenting it delights even gourmets who are not fans of fresh oysters. Open the oysters and remove the first juice, then take them out of their shells and put them back in. Place boudoirs in the bottom of a dish and add half of the preparation. Add another layer of boudoir and the mixture and sprinkle with cocoa.
