Today, I invite you to take a one-way trip to Morocco. When we think of tea, we naturally think of Asia, the privileged land for the cultivation of tea leaves. But when you think of mint tea, you are immediately transported to the Maghreb.
So yes, of course, Asia is never far away since it is a premium Gunpowder green tea from China that I am offering you. This tea comes from the province of Zhejiang which is located in the east of the country, under the big city of Shanghai.
This tea has been cultivated since the Tang Dynasty took over the country almost 1,500 years ago. However, it was not until the 19th century that it made its appearance in North Africa and became the most popular product for making mint tea.
This tea is high in theine and offers strong notes, which are counterbalanced by the sweetness and freshness of mint.
If you enjoy iced tea, my mint tea will delight your taste buds all summer long.
No suspense, this tea tastes like... mint. And that's what you're looking for, right? It offers an intense and balanced aroma. Even if you don't sweeten your tea, it can be nice to put a little sugar in it for a sweet tasting.
Before arriving in your cup for a tasting full of flavour, the Gunpowder tea leaves are harvested in the Zhejiang province in China. They are roasted to kill the enzymes that cause oxidation. Remember, green tea, unlike black tea, is not oxidized. This step is therefore essential.
Then, the leaves are rolled. Open your bag of Gunpowder green tea with mint, you will see these small leaves perfectly rolled. Again, this is an essential step as the rolling will impact the notes in the mouth. Compare your teas and you will see that not all the leaves are rolled in the same way.
Finally, the leaves are dried to a moisture content of around 5%. It is this stage in the production of green tea that allows it to be kept for a long time (even if mint green tea never stays in a cupboard for very long!).
For a gustatory trip to Morocco, I would like to suggest you to taste my Gunpowder mint tea with oriental cakes such as gazelle horns, loukoums or baklavas.
You can also imagine a non-alcoholic aperitif with mint green tea accompanied by dried fruit (almonds, peanuts, pistachios, etc.).
Gunpowder is an ally in weight loss. Do not hesitate to drink it throughout the day, it is healthy and this tea plays on your appetite. According to a study, it would indeed act on the satiety hormone while boosting the metabolism to lose weight.
Its richness in manganese makes it a perfect drink to transform fat into energy. With my Gunpowder mint tea, you stay sharp all day long.
Mint also has virtues that are worth mentioning. This ornamental plant is used to fight against digestive and urinary disorders, against joint pains and headaches, but also against coughs.
Infusion temperature: 80° Infusion time: between 3 minutes and 3 minutes 45 Dosage: 10 g for a liter of water Ideal moment for tasting: from morning to evening, this tea will be perfect to digest after meals.
